The lead up to Christmas is a very busy time for many people! With increased pending deadlines, longer trading hours, hurried clients and a fast pace that could put an Olympic medallist to shame, it’s no wonder we struggle to get it all done.
Looming in the back of our mind is the high pressure, need to find the time to get out, battle the crowds and the carparks to get the Christmas shopping done.
Some of us write lists for people we need to buy for and others create a mental list in our head which we spend a great deal of time thinking about.
Then we remember those super organised friends that told us in July, “I just bought the last of my Christmas shopping” and we are reminded that we vowed we were not going to find ourselves in a last minute shopping frenzy this year, only to realise we are almost back in the same position again. How does this happen?
I am sure we all agree that there are some people who are really easy to buy for, the very thought of their name brings lots of ideas to mind … and then there are those people who we haven’t got a clue what to buy them.
